Formed in 2012, Seconds To Serenity quickly emerged as a force in the Chicagoland hard rock and alternative metal scene. Known for their explosive energy and raw, emotionally charged sound, the band quickly drew comparisons to acts like Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Motionless in White, and Three Days Grace. After releasing two albums, Scarlet (2013) and Learn To Fly (2015), the band went on a hiatus lasting nearly 10 years, leaving fans eagerly awaiting their next move.
Now in 2025, original member Jake LoGiudice (lead vocals, guitar) has brought the band back from the dead, recruiting members Brian Benischek on guitar and Draven DC on drums, while also bringing back Jesus "Zeus" Carranza, the original drummer, on the bass guitar. With a renewed passion and a sound honed over years of individual growth, Seconds To Serenity is ready to reclaim their place in the scene with their signature blend of heavy riffs, melodic hooks, and intense, introspective lyrics. With new music on the horizon, the band is poised to make an even bigger impact. The first glimpse of this new chapter comes with the release of their highly anticipated single, “Bloom,” on April 2nd, 2025. This single will be followed by an EP later in the year, marking an exciting new era for the band.
The band’s return signals not just a revival - it’s a rebirth. Seconds To Serenity’s upcoming music promises to be heavier, more intense, and more honest than ever before.
