Seconds To Serenity was born in the shadows of 2012, rising from the depths of the Chicagoland hard rock and alternative metal scene with a sound as haunting as it is explosive. Blending crushing riffs, emotionally raw vocals, and introspective lyrics steeped in pain and resilience, the band quickly earned comparisons to acts like Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Motionless in White, and Three Days Grace.

After unleashing Scarlet (2013) and Learn To Fly (2015), the band slipped into silence—a near-decade-long hiatus that left a void in the hearts of fans and a question mark hanging over the future. That silence has now been shattered.

In 2025, founding frontman Jake LoGiudice (vocals, guitar) resurrected Seconds To Serenity, breathing new life into the band with guitarist Brian Benischek, bassist Dana Goggin, and drummer Draven DC. Forged in solitude and sharpened by experience, the band’s sound has evolved into something darker, heavier, and unflinchingly honest.

April 2nd saw the release of their single, “Bloom”, which served as a glimpse into this new era. But the descent goes deeper. On Friday June 13th the band released their seconds single back, “The Void” — a harrowing dive into themes of loss, nihilism, and self-destruction. It's a track that doesn't just echo—it drags you under. And released on August 7th, “Without You”, the 3rd single off of their upcoming record, is poised to solidify Seconds To Serenity as a name to watch out for.

With their new record slated for release later this year, Seconds To Serenity isn’t just making a return—they’re staking their claim in the darkness. For those who walk the edge between chaos and catharsis, Seconds To Serenity offers a soundtrack forged in anguish, rebirth, and the brutal truth of the human condition.

🔥 ANNOUNCEMENT – Meet Our New Bassist, Dana Goggin! 🔥 We’re beyond excited to officially welcome Dana Goggin to the Seconds to Serenity family as our new bass player. Dana has been a dedicated musician for over 15 years, and his passion for music took off the moment he first heard Avenged Sevenfold’s "City of Evil" — the album that lit the fire and set him on his musical journey. Since then, he’s been an active part of the scene, bringing intensity, skill, and heart to every project he's been a part of. Dana’s played in several bands over the years, most notably Beyond the Red, Ashes of Edin, and his current band Develin. His experience, energy, and love for the craft make him the perfect addition to the STS lineup. Outside of music, Dana is a proud father and husband, and when he’s not laying down bass lines, you’ll find him immersed in the world of gaming — not just for the fun, but for the story, lore, and adventure behind every experience. We’re stoked for what’s ahead with Dana holding down the low end. Hey everyone. We wanted to take a moment to share some news with you all — our brother Zeus has officially parted ways with Seconds to Serenity. First and foremost, we want to say this: we absolutely love Zeus to death. He’s been an integral part of this journey, not just as our bass player, but originally as our drummer when this all started over 10 years ago. His talent, energy, and heart have helped shape what this band has become, and we’ll forever be grateful for everything he’s brought to the table. This isn’t a negative thing — there is zero bad blood here. This was simply the right decision for Zeus, and we fully support him. We respect the hell out of him, and that won’t ever change. He’s a brother to us, and we love him unconditionally. Please continue to show him love and support in his other projects — you can catch him killing it in Static Trip and his Rise Against tribute act, Savior.
